BDY’s teacher training is based on an attitude of humility and exploration. Our studio provides a joyful, relaxed environment for you to deepen your understanding and practice of yoga. We will balance our minds and bodies to focus on complete wellness. As you progress, you will find or refine your voice as a teacher and learn more about the powerful benefits of yoga so you are prepared to share them with others.

August 1st- First content drop, Module 1- ONLINE study
September 6 & 7 - Module 2, in-person session
September 26- Third content drop- Module 3- ONLINE study
October 25 & 26- Module 4, in-person session
November 22 & 23- Module 5, in-person session
January 10 & 11- Module 6, in-person session
February 14 & 15- Module 7, in-person session
March 15- Module 8, in-person session and GRADUATION!

COST: $2,350 (Pay in full for a 10% discount, making the total cost $2,115).
Payment plan available:
Deposit of $500. Four payments of $462.50 in September, November, January and February.
GOALS OF BDY’S YOGA TEACHER TRAINING
Study your own practices and behaviors, so you can better learn communication skills and techniques appropriate for all relationships.
Learn how yoga can bring you a deeper understanding of yourself and others.
Study the various branches, limbs, philosophies, and yoga practices to create safe and effective experiences for students of all levels.
Understand 100+ yoga poses and their effects.
Learn and practice pranayama (breathing) and meditation techniques.
Develop yoga sequences that will provide a well-balanced practice for yourself and others.
Understand principles of anatomy and how to work with students with injuries or limitations, including proper use of props.
Learn how to observe bodies and provide modifications and adjustments for better alignment and benefits.
Study yoga philosophy and historical texts like the Yoga Sutras in an open & non-judgmental setting.
Learn how to teach clearly and specifically, using proven strategies and language, including Sanskrit.
Master simple restorative and relaxation poses with use of props.
Obtain an introduction to the subtle bodies- Klesas, Koshas, Chakras, Doshas, Nadis, etc.
Practice teaching with feedback from instructors and peers.
Certification satisfies all standards and requirements set forth by the Yoga Alliance and qualifies for Yoga Alliance registration.
Learn how to successfully begin your yoga career with business coaching and templates for your studio and other teaching platforms.
Develop a deeper sense of self-awareness, understanding and communication skills.
